Staffed Open Hours In-Person

Staffed open hours denote when one or more laboratory assistants are available in the Breakerspace outside of scheduled instrument trainings. These hours provide the opportunity to speak directly with a laboratory assistant on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration required!

Staffed open hours are the perfect time to:

  • Ask questions about the Breakerspace
  • Learn about the available instruments (including our state-of-the-art espresso machine!) and their capability
  • Get help using an instrument on a project or other Breakerspace inquiry
  • Not yet trained on an instrument but would like to use it? Have a laboratory assistant help you (completing a formal training for an instrument is otherwise required without the oversight of a laboratory assistant)
  • Anything else Breakerspace!
