Get trained to use the Breakserspace's particle size analyzer! 

All trainings take place one-on-one or in small groups with a Breakerspace laboratory assistant. Completion of a training session for an instrument will provide one with login access to that instrument via an instrument reservation or walk-ins anytime during laboratory open hours. Completion of one's first training session with the Breakerspace will provide tap access to the laboratory as well as the Breakerspace lounge and coffee machines. 

This particle size analysis training provides instruction on the following:

• A broad overview of how the instrument works
• How to prepare samples for characterization
• Formal procedures to ensure appropriate use of the instrument
• Basic instrument operations including:
  •           Preparing and loading sample
  •           Starting up/shutting down the instrument correctly
  •           Operating the measurement software and saving data
  •           Other important miscellaneous operations
